Business Summary
On November 20, 1811 Friedrich Krupp establishes a factory with two partners for the making of English cast steel and all products therefrom; and on April 1, 1871 August Thyssen establishes the firm of Thyssen & Co. in Styrum near Mülheim.

ThyssenKrupp AG is officially registered on March 17, 1999 and commences operations with economic effect at October 1, 1998.
thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions has a state-of-the-art Service Centre in Chloorkop, Johannesburg from where all the after-sales support is managed to cover the entire sub-Saharan Africa region. We have a compliment of more than150 technically skilled people, inclusive of engineers, technicians, artisans and administration personnel, dedicated to OEM aftermarket support.
